Extenteam is currently looking for a Remote Revenue Manager to join our growing organization and undertake the following tasks:
We are seeking a Remote Revenue Manager to oversee and optimize revenue for our portfolio of vacation rental properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in revenue management, data analysis, and the vacation rental or hospitality industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue management strategies, monitoring market trends, and ensuring optimal pricing and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and Implementing Revenue Strategies:
● Create and execute effective pricing strategies to optimize revenue based on market demand, seasonality, and competitive landscape.
● Develop dynamic pricing models and revenue management plans tailored to each property
● Continuously adjust pricing strategies to reflect changes in demand, market conditions, and booking trends.
● Analyze market trends, competitive data, and historical performance to inform pricing decisions.
● Work closely with the management team to understand their goals and expectations.
Inventory and Channel Management:
● Maintain and optimize relationships with online travel agencies (OTAs), direct booking platforms, and other distribution partners.
● Manage inventory distribution across various booking channels to ensure maximum exposure and revenue.
● Ensure property information, availability, and rates are accurately reflected across all distribution channels.
● Collaborate with the management team to optimize promotional activities and special offers.
Reporting and Performance Monitoring:
● Generate and present detailed revenue reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to the management team.
● Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy rates, average daily rates (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
● Utilize revenue management software and tools to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
Foundational Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
● Excellent written and verbal English skills for phone, text, and email communication.
● Experience in revenue management, preferably in the vacation rental or hospitality industry.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
● Proficiency in revenue management software (e.g., Wheelhouse, Beyond Pricing, PriceLabs) in the vacation rental or hotel industry.
● Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
● Attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service.
● Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
● Ability to learn new software quickly and efficiently.
● Willingness to ask questions when unclear about a task or process.
Nice to Haves:
● Vacation rental industry experience, working with VRBO, AirBnB, KeyData, Streamline PMS, and other software applications in the industry.
● PMS experience in the rental and/or hotel industry
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Internet speed minimum 30mbps
- i5 8th Gen or higher
- Windows 10 / MacOS Catalina or higher
- Minimum of 8 GB RAM
- Private and quiet dedicated home office area (no roosters, dogs, children's noises in the background)
- Back-ups in case of power or internet provider interruptions
- Good headset and webcam (preferably noise-canceling headset)
